My recent gourmet getaway at Cit'Hotel in Lourdes was a delightful culinary journey. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an exquisite dining experience. The breakfast spread provided a great start to each day, with fresh pastries and a variety of cheeses that were a nod to my love for French gastronomy. During my stay, I had the pleasure of aging a bottle of Madiran wine from their selection, which beautifully complemented the flavors of the regional cuisine. The hotel's bar, Le Galery, offered a cozy retreat where I mingled with other guests and enjoyed aperitifs before dinner. For dinner, although the hotel's restaurant offered a set menu, the staff graciously recommended nearby eateries like Pizzeria Da Marco and Le Cantegril for a change of pace. I highly recommend this establishment for fellow food enthusiasts seeking a taste of Lourdes' culinary scene.
